DIY Holiday Place Settings

December 21, 2022

The easiest DIY holiday place settings! It’s the week of Christmas and I have a list of million things to do. I didn’t think about place settings until today. And with it being so last minute, I was determined to find materials around the house to make some.

I had some leftover vellum paper from my Thanksgiving place settings so I decided to use that again. I also have these bulk small bells I ordered from Amazon last year. And to get them an antique look, I added a little rub and buff to them. This process was super easy. I just simply placed all my bells into a gallon Ziploc bag. Then squeezed some rub and buff into the bag and gave it a good shake. I then let the bells dry for 3-4 hours before using them.

The finished look is beautiful and I can’t tell you how much I’ve used these bells. From wrapping presents to decorative jars, to cute little toppers of my Christmas cookie boxes and now my place settings. Those twines and greenery I ordered in bulk from Amazon have also been used in wrapping all of my holiday presents. I have all the supplies linked here on my liketoknow.it.

Here is a quick video on how to make your own DIY holiday place settings.
