Sprouting Carrot Cups

February 18, 2022

These were so much fun to make and were absolutely delicious, but let’s be honest, if you top any dessert off with a chocolate-covered strawberry, it is a win in my book!

What you’ll need:

  • Mason jars
  • Chocolate cake
  • Chocolate mousse
  • Strawberries
  • Oreos
  • Orange melts
  • Piping bag
  • Round cookie cutter
  • Star tip

Step 1: Bake your favorite chocolate cake recipe on a baking sheet.

Step 2: While your cakes are in the oven, wash your strawberries and dry them off. Once they are completely dried, you can melt your orange chocolate melt candies and start dipping away. I added some drizzle onto each of my dipped strawberries to create a carrot look. You can do this with a piping bag or a self-made parchment paper bag.

Step 3: Once your cake is baked and cooled, you can start cutting out round cake pieces with your round cookie cutter, as shown in the picture above.

Step 4: Fill a startup piping bag with your chocolate mousse. You can use the same recipe I used for my oreo dreams; just switch out white chocolate for semisweet chocolate chips.

Step 5: Start assembling and enjoy!
